We will still be accepting registrations for the Workshop though if not already registered, there is no guarantee of an available sleeping room at the official Workshop Hotel. Details about an alternative hotel will be forthcoming.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
The Sixth International Workshop on HIV Persistence during Therapy is a closed workshop with a limited attendance of 250 delegates. All individuals interested in attending this Workshop MUST submit an application/abstract prior to the deadline of Friday, September 6, 2013.

Potential participants involved in the field, but not submitting an abstract this year, should also submit an online application before September 6th, which will be studied by the Steering Committee. Individuals not conducting bench research, but who are involved in the HIV/AIDS field at a policy level, are also encouraged to apply.

Online application/abstract submission is available on this Workshop website. Priority is given to those individuals submitting abstracts. All applications will be acknowledged, but this acknowledgment does NOT represent a confirmation of acceptance to register. Applications sent via E-mail cannot be accepted.

REGISTRATION FEE INFORMATION

Registration Fees (Payable in US dollars)

  • Workshop registration fee: $1700
    *this TENTATIVE registration fee is subject to change as corporate sponsorship increases.
  • Hotel accommodations:   $910
    Registration fee (inclusive of meeting materials and meals): $790
  • Accompanying guests, sharing room with delegate: $600

Upon notification of acceptance, the delegate must REGISTER for the Workshop. Payment of the Workshop registration fee includes the following:

  • Entrance into all scientific sessions, including poster area
  • Single-occupancy accommodation for three (3) nights
  • Official Workshop materials
  • Breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks and dinner during the days of the conference

Payment of the Accompanying Guest registration fee includes the following:

  • Breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks and dinner during the days of the conference

CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to nature of this closed Workshop and the proximity of registration to the commencement of the Workshop itself, all registration fees are nonrefundable.

CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION

STATEMENT OF NEED
The content of the Sixth International Workshop on HIV Persistence during Therapy was determined by assessment of educational need, including feedback from prior programs and new medical knowledge.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This Workshop was designed to interest physicians, clinicians, scientists and clinical researchers in the HIV persistence and latency arena.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) and Alain Lafeuillade at General Hospital. The University of Massachusetts Medical School is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
